The NVIT Admissions Process
Our 4-step process ensures you are placed in the program that best matches your career goals and the needs of our engineering partners.
- Step 1
Submit Application (No fee)
Complete our 10-minute online application. No application fee is required. We look for potential, not just prior experience.
- Step 2
Technical & Career Assessment
Meet with an Admissions Advisor to discuss your career goals. We will evaluate your aptitude for our high-level tracks: Agentic AI, Cloud DevOps, or Data Engineering.
- Step 3
Residency Alignment & Enrollment.
Once accepted, we finalize your funding (WIOA, Financing, or Self-Pay) and align you with our Engineering Residency program. You will sign your enrollment agreement and receive your "Day 1" orientation packet.

Official Onboarding & Compliance
Enrollment Agreement: Students must review and sign the Official Enrollment Agreement. School Catalog: Students must receive the most current NVIT School Catalog before the first day of class. Note: Both the signed agreement and receipt of the catalog are required for full regulatory compliance.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need a Computer Science degree to apply?
A: No. While basic computer literacy is required, our "Engineering Residency" model is designed to take determined individuals and turn them into job-ready Engineer through hands-on experience.
Q: Is the training online or at the Frisco Campus?
A: We offer a Hybrid Immersion Model. You can attend live, instructor-led sessions at our Frisco, TX campus or join virtually via our high-definition remote learning platform.
Q: How soon can I start working on live projects?
A: Once you demonstrate mastery of the foundational modules and pass your first milestone certification, you may be eligible to join our real world and billable project teams under the supervision of a Senior Engineer.
Performance Disclosure
As a newly licensed institution, NVIT is currently establishing its initial graduate performance data. In accordance with TWC §807.284, completion and placement data will be published as soon as the first reporting cycle is completed. Our curriculum is specifically engineered to meet the documented high demand for AI Infrastructure, Cloud DevOps, and Cybersecurity roles.
