NVIT Master Legal Center: Privacy, Terms, and R&D Disclosures

This policy describes how New Vision Institute of Technology Inc. (“NVIT,” “the School,” “the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)
manages personal information for students, workforce participants, IT consulting clients, and website visitors.
We collect information directly from your applications and automatically via our platforms:
Identifiers: Full legal name, physical and billing address, personal email, phone number, and date of birth.
Government & Regulatory Identifiers: Social Security Number (SSN), Student SSID, and state-issued identification for mandatory reporting to TWC and WIOA boards.
Academic & Progress Records: Attendance logs (Time-In/Time-Out), module progress, grades, transcripts, certificates, and recordings of live classroom sessions.
Professional & Career Data: Student resumes, cover letters, portfolios, professional certifications, and prior work history.
Financial & Funding Data: WIOA grant eligibility, tuition payment history (Zelle, Money Order, Check, Cash), and scholarship documentation.
Technical Data: IP address, browser type, and interaction logs on our Learning Management System (LMS).
NVIT is a licensed Career School and an approved WIOA provider. By enrolling, you provide irrevocable consent for the following:
Texas Workforce Commission (TWC): We are legally mandated to transmit periodic reports to the TWC. This includes student progress reports, academic records, attendance rolls, and program completion data.
Workforce Boards (WIOA): We share records, progress data, and attendance with the Texas Workforce Commission and the Louisiana Workforce Commission. NVIT is actively seeking and joining workforce boards in additional states; student records will be shared with those boards upon approval to facilitate funding and compliance.
Educational Institution Sharing: NVIT may share student transcripts, certificates, and educational records with other schools, colleges, and universities for enrollment verification, credit transfer, or articulation agreements.
To facilitate student employment, NVIT maintains an active career services department.
Employer Disclosure:
Student resumes, cover letters, project portfolios, and technical profiles may be shared with hiring managers, recruiters, and corporate partners.
Placement Tracking:
Job placement data (employer name, salary range, start date) is shared with workforce boards to track economic impact and compliance.
Texas residents have the right to access their data, correct inaccuracies, and request deletion (subject to TWC’s mandatory 7-year record retention requirements). To exercise these rights, contact info@nvit.tech.
NVIT encourages innovation through student projects and its specialized Research & Development (R&D) Team.
A. Coursework License: Students retain copyrights to personal assignments but grant NVIT a royalty-free license to use these works for institutional and promotional purposes.
B. NVIT R&D Team Ownership: Participation in the R&D Team or institutional projects is voluntary. All inventions, discoveries, software code, algorithms, data models, trade secrets, and improvements (collectively, “Inventions”) conceived or reduced to practice during participation in the NVIT R&D Team are the sole and exclusive property of NVIT. Students hereby assign all worldwide rights to NVIT and acknowledge this as “Work-for-Hire.”
NVIT’s refund policy is governed by the Texas Workforce Commission, Career Schools and Colleges.
72-Hour Cancellation: A full refund will be made if a student cancels the contract within 72 hours of signing.
First 3 Class Days: A full refund will be made if cancelled within the first three scheduled class days, minus a maximum $100 administrative fee.
Withdrawal (Pro-Rata): If a student withdraws after the first three days but before completing 75% of the program, a pro-rata refund of tuition is provided.
75% Rule: Students who complete 75% or more of the program hours are not entitled to a refund.
Active Military Service: Students called to active duty are entitled to a full pro-rata refund or an “Incomplete” grade with re-enrollment rights.
Timeline: All refunds are processed within 60 days of the termination date.
NVIT provides Academic Career Training (licensed by TWC) and IT Solutions/Consulting/Staffing (Professional Services).
All curriculum, Data, Cloud, DevOps, MLOps, AIOPS, Python modules, and AI/ML proprietary frameworks are the exclusive property of NVIT.
Personal Use Only: Students are granted a limited license for personal educational use.
Prohibited Acts: You may not record, screen-capture, or distribute NVIT materials to third parties. Any violation is a violation of federal law and grounds for immediate termination without refund.
Users are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their account credentials. Furthermore, students acknowledge that successful training outcomes—defined as the acquisition of AI-era, job-ready technical skills—are contingent upon their personal commitment. This includes:
Mandatory Engagement: Consistent attendance, active participation in hands-on labs, and completion of all real-world projects and weekly assignments.
Mentorship Compliance: Strict adherence to the instructional curriculum and mentorship guidance provided by NVIT instructors.
Industry Certifications: NVIT provides advanced curriculum and labs designed to prepare students for industry-recognized certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM, NVIDIA, CompTIA etc). While NVIT facilitates this preparation, the awarding of industry certifications is handled by external vendors. Students are responsible for meeting external requirements and paying any applicable third-party exam fees.
No Guarantee: While our programs emphasize practical experience over theory, NVIT does not guarantee employment, job placement, or specific salary outcomes upon completion of any program.
TWC Authority: Approved/regulated by the Texas Workforce Commission, Career Schools and Colleges, Austin, Texas.
Facility Safety: NVIT holds a valid Certificate of Occupancy (CO24-00177) from the City of Frisco for Office/IT use.
Communication: By providing your number, you consent to SMS/Email updates regarding attendance, progress, WIOA funding, and careers. Reply “STOP” to opt-out.
